Do I take insurance?

Currently? No. In the near future? Yes. Please check back as I will update this portion of my website regularly as this changes. Currently I am taking new clients and I charge $185 a session.

What is my training background?

I completed my undergraduate training at Saint Louis University in 2015, and then received my PhD in clinical psychology from the University of Memphis in 2021. I completed my pre-doctoral internship and postdoctoral fellowship at the Durham VA Health Care System in Durham, North Carolina.

What is evidence-based treatment?

Evidence-based treatment is the use of therapeutic techniques that have been researched and found to be effective for specific concerns. I use evidence-based techniques in a flexible, integrative, and client-centered style. Part of our time together might be spent discussing the various evidence-based treatment options that we could utilize to help you reach your therapy goals.

Do I engage in research?

Yes, if you would like to view my publication history, you can find that here. My research has focused on a variety of topics. Primarily, I have researched interpersonal trauma and addiction. I have a particular interest in understanding when and why individuals decide to start seeking mental health care.

Do I offer other services?

I offer clinical workshops. I mostly have conducted a workshops on the treatment of gambling related concerns for a variety of organizations, including the International Center for Responsible Gaming, the Harvard School of Medicine, Massachusetts Department of Public Health, & Health Affiliates Maine.
